Armistice Day Flag Raising

The Mayor of Newquay, Cllr Drew Creek, will host an Armistice Day Flag Raising Ceremony on Wednesday 11th November outside the Municipal Offices on Marcus Hill.

Held annually to mark Armistice Day, the ceremony provides an opportunity for residents, organisations and visitors to pause and remember the servicemen and women who have served and sacrificed for their country. The event will include the raising of the Union flag and a moment of reflection.

The event will begin at 9.30am and is expected to last approximately 30 minutes.

All are welcome to attend and join the town in paying their respects as Newquay marks this important day of Remembrance.
