Newquay Pride 2026 – CANCELLED

Due to poor weather, Newquay Pride 2026 and the Pride March has been cancelled. The official indoor after-party will still take place at the Rattler Beach House from 7pm until 1am on Saturday 29th August.

Newquay Pride returns on Saturday 29th August 2026, bringing together residents and visitors for a celebration of diversity, inclusion and community. The event will feature Newquay’s annual Pride March through the town, followed by an afternoon and evening of family-friendly entertainment, live performances, community stalls, food and drink, and opportunities to connect with local organisations and support groups.

Pride March

Join Cornwall Pride at 12 noon on Saturday 29th August for the annual Pride March through Newquay. The march starts at the Barrowfields (by Narrowcliff Public Toilets) and finishes at the Killacourt, with participants asked to gather from 11:45am.

The route will be marshalled by Cornwall Pride volunteers and takes approximately 30 minutes.

Everyone is welcome to join on foot, with music and celebration throughout. Support and assistance will be available from volunteer marshals and the police to help ensure a safe, welcoming and enjoyable event for all.

Pride Celebration at the Killacourt

From 12:30pm onwards, the celebrations continue on the Killacourt with a full programme of family-friendly entertainment throughout the afternoon and evening.

Visitors can enjoy:

  • Comedy and cabaret performances
  • Drag artists and dancers
  • Community and support group stalls
  • Pride merchandise
  • Food and drink vendors
  • All-day bar

A dedicated quiet space will also be available for anyone who would like a break from the celebrations.

The event is completely free to attend.

  • Bus: 11 routes serve Newquay, with connections across Cornwall. The Killacourt is a 6-minute walk from Newquay Bus Station. Plan your journey here.
  • Park & Ride: Newquay’s Park & Ride service is running from Saturday 18th July to Monday 31st August. The Park and Ride site is located at TR8 4NY, opposite Hendra Holiday Park. Find out more here.
  • Train: Newquay Station has hourly branch line services connecting to the mainline at Par. It’s a 10-minute walk to the Killacourt. Plan your journey here.

Yes – public toilets are available on the Killacourt (Trebarwith Crescent, TR7 1DN, ///lands.chained.passively).

  • April–September: 9am–6pm

Facilities include:

  • Ladies (5 cubicles, baby change)
  • Gents (4 urinals, 2 cubicles)
  • 1 accessible toilet

50p charge applies.

Yes – the Killacourt has step-free access from The Crescent, Island Crescent and Trebarwith Crescent.

A resin pathway runs through the centre of the site, suitable for wheelchairs, mobility scooters and pushchairs.

There is limited shade on the Killacourt, so we recommend bringing suncream, a hat and plenty of water in hot weather. A free water refill station is available on site.
