Join us on Saturday 15th August for the Sunset Session, a fresh new event as part of our 2026 Newquay Sessions programme, bringing chilled vibes and high-energy sounds to the Killacourt.

Is there parking available?
There is no parking on site. However, several town centre car parks are within a short walk:
- Manor Car Park (long stay) – 4 minute walk
- St George’s Rd (long stay) – 7 minute walk
- Mount Wise (long stay) – 7 minute walk
- Fore Street (short stay) – 7 minute walk

Can I use public transport to get to the Killacourt?
Yes – the Killacourt is easy to reach by public transport.
- Bus: 11 routes serve Newquay, with connections across Cornwall. The Killacourt is a 6-minute walk from Newquay Bus Station. Plan your journey here.
- Park & Ride: Newquay’s Park & Ride service is running from Saturday 18th July to Monday 31st August. The Park and Ride site is located at TR8 4NY, opposite Hendra Holiday Park. Find out more here.
- Train: Newquay Station has hourly branch line services connecting to the mainline at Par. It’s a 10-minute walk to the Killacourt. Plan your journey here.
Are there toilets on site?
Yes – public toilets are available on the Killacourt (Trebarwith Crescent, TR7 1DN, ///lands.chained.passively).
Opening times:
- October–March: 10am–4pm
- April–September: 9am–6pm
Facilities include:
- Ladies (5 cubicles, baby change)
- Gents (4 urinals, 2 cubicles)
- 1 accessible toilet
A 50p charge applies.
There is also a Changing Places facility on the Killacourt site, open during the same hours. This is free to use for registered users. You can find out more about the facility here.

Is the Killacourt accessible?
Yes – the Killacourt has step-free access from The Crescent, Island Crescent and Trebarwith Crescent.
A resin pathway runs through the centre of the site, suitable for wheelchairs, mobility scooters and pushchairs.
Limited seating (low deckchairs) will be provided for the Sunset Session. Visitors are welcome to bring their own camping chairs or mobility aids for added comfort.

Is there first aid on site?
Yes – a qualified first aider is present at all events throughout their duration.
At the Sunset Session, additional medical staff will also be on site to provide support.
How does weather affect events on the Killacourt?
There is limited shade on the Killacourt, so we recommend bringing suncream, a hat and plenty of water in hot weather. A free water refill station is available on site.
In poor weather, including high winds, events may be cancelled. Please check @newquaytowncouncilevents on social media for updates, or call the Library & Visitor Information Service on 01637 838516 before travelling if you are unsure.
