Mount Wise Breaking Ground Ceremony

With work beginning next week on the Mount Wise play park, today marked the Breaking Ground Ceremony for the project. Thank you to everyone who attended!

Here are some of the Mayor’s words from the occasion:

“As we break ground on this park, we are laying the foundations for healthier childhoods, stronger communities and a Newquay that continues to support its young people. This project began with the voices of local children, and we know that access to safe outdoor play is vital for their wellbeing and development.”
