Newquay Town Council Launches 2026 Community Grant Scheme
Newquay Town Council is inviting local not-for-profit organisations to apply for its 2026 Community Grant Scheme, helping small projects grow and enabling community activity to flourish across the town.
Now open for applications, this initiative aims to support local organisations in their efforts to enhance the quality of life for Newquay’s residents and visitors. It will also help strengthen community connections and support positive local impact.
The grants are intended to support initiatives that align with the town’s core values and priorities, contributing to the overall wellbeing and continued development of Newquay.
Projects eligible for funding should fall within one or more of the following categories:
- Enhance or expand existing events held in Newquay
- Promote community pride
- Support local safety campaigns
- Inspire students and young residents to engage with local issues, history or culture (beyond the core curriculum)
- Support sports initiatives or events (outside statutory provisions such as schools)
- Promote Newquay to wider audiences, increasing visitors and boosting the local economy
- Support environmental initiatives that improve the parish
