Newquay Cricket Club is committed to increasing participation opportunities for girls and women through inclusive, accessible and sustainable cricket programmes. Funding will support the purchase of playing kit and equipment, helping to remove financial barriers for new players, as well as qualified coaching to develop skills, improve retention and strengthen pathways from junior to senior cricket. The grant will also contribute towards clubhouse improvements, creating a more welcoming and inclusive environment for players, families and visitors. Collectively, these investments will promote physical and mental wellbeing, increase female participation, and ensure long-term opportunities for girls and women to enjoy cricket within the local community.
